My First Giveaway!!!!! Oxygenfit Body Plan Kit
Yes, I received my bands and ball for free. That doesn’t keep me from being honest.
Using my Oxygenfit toner in my fancy garage gym to aid my pull-ups.
While I don’t use exercise bands regularly (except for the above exercise which is my favorite way to work up to pull ups) they are perfect for those with a limited budget, space, or for traveling. Bands are affordable, light, portable, small, versatile, and convenient. You can easily throw them in a carry-on suitcase and eliminate one of the excuse factors when traveling.
After a bad experience with cheap bands (One broke and the handle hit me in the face bloodying my nose…yes it hurt like heck!) I was delighted when I saw and experienced the the quality of the Oxygenfit Toners (bands). What sets the Oxygen Toners apart from other bands? Attention to detail and quality construction. The plastic tubing is attached inside a nylon sleeve and the sleeve is securely attached to the handle. There is also an optional attachment called the Fit Stik that allows you to add more variety and use the Toners more like a barbell.
The square part is heavily stitched for safety. I can’t imagine this breaking!
The Oxygenfit Toners feel safer and more comfortable (no pinching) than an average exercise band. As long as you aren’t using the band as a swing or for acrobatics then the possibility of the band breaking is virtually eliminated.
The ball?
I’ve always bought cheap balls from discount stores and inevitably it felt like I was doing planks on a balloon rather than a stability ball as the plastic felt thin. However, the Oxygenfit Body Ball is akin to the higher quality balls I’ve used at the gym. Although, mine could have used a few more pumps of air. Speaking of the the air pump it was really easy to use. It took me 2 minutes and 37 seconds to fill up with air. Yes, I actually time it with a stop watch and, yes, I’m easily entertained.
While I don’t use a stability ball every day (I don’t use any one piece of equipment every day), I do use them to add variety to my workouts and prevent boredom. I consider it one of the better pieces of exercise equipment when it comes to price, effectiveness, and versatility.
The friendly people of Oxygenfit have offered to giveaway a Body Plan Kit (worth $94.95) to one lucky Girl Heroes reader. The kit will contain 1 Body Ball, 1 Light Toner, 1 Fit Stick, 1 door anchor, 1 Air Stik Pump, Motivational DVD, Fit Stik DVD, and Gym Technik Mobile Application.

My favorite exercise on the ball is crunches! I love how you get a wide range of motion that way!!!
Just started reading your blog recently, its pretty great! I use the stability ball for crunches, stretching too and most importantly (because I really feel it) hamstring curls.
I just went to the oxygenfit site and was kind of impressed bu the variety of exercises that can be done with these items. It would be perfect for when I visit family and friends and can’t really get to the gym!
I just saw somebody using these at the gym and I so wanted some. She was doing a lunge/arm press combo thing that looked really excellent.
woohoo tweeted!
Your back looks soooo awesome!
Stability ball – hand to foot passes for lower abs without a doubt. 2nd: hamstring curls
I love to do abs on the ball! I would love to win this because my ball went flat and I haven’t bought one yet!

I would totally use the ball to work on my plank holds and push-ups. And I just adore the resistance bands for squat high pulls and bicep curls! These would make a great addition to my boot camp workouts and allow me to perfect my form.
I’ve never used either bands or balls for working out, but I would love to try it! I’d use it for a total body strength work out. And my kids would love to use the ball to play indoor soccer (only up until I yelled at them for breaking a picture or a lamp)!
Checked out the video – okay NOW I really want this!! I dig that over the door feature!
Okay – tweeted it!

SHOULDER PRESS with the bands is one of my favorites. Also I hook the band around a steel post in my basement & create a chest press set that is great too!
Do not have a ball but want one – can someone clarify how to select the right size? It is based on your height or does it even matter? I am 5’4″ (at 145lbs trying to get to 128/130 by June for a family trip). I want my abs to look GOOD – so a ball MUST find its way to me soon so I can get more ab work going here! Thanks! Healthy Regards from Kansas!
I checked out the website!
I like to do hamstring curls with the ball
I would use the ball for ab workouts and I would love to try pull ups!
Just checked out the website!!!
Some of my favorites on the stability ball are the pike or jack knife and weighted crunches and pushups.
Checked out the web/video and love the fact that it would make my travels to my parent’s house that much easier since there is limited space but always a doorway available!
Looks like a well made product with a wide array of exercises to be accomplished.
I posted a link to this page on my Facebook page, hope that’s ok too
My fav exercise on the ball: back extensions.
Checked out the website video.
I love bands!!! I don’t like using them anymore because I unfortunately had the same incident of one breaking and hitting me as you did!! It really hurt!!
But I love doing assisted pull-ups with them as well!!! Also, the ball, I love doing abs on!!!

I like doing plank to pike roll up on the ball. It’s major balance and hardcore ab work right there.
I checked out the site. I love the idea that it’s portable so you dont need to go the gym!
Love to various ab crunches on the ball at the gym – have not purchased a ball for home yet BUT want to! Good to crunch during tv commericials. Also wondered how using a ball during the day vs. a desk chair works – I hear that is a way to work the core while working!?
I love doing push ups with my ball
