Tasty Salmon Patties
Salmon regularly makes the different so called “superfoods” lists.
(Here, here, and here.)
Unlike broccoli I actually enjoy eating salmon.
Especially when someone else cooks it.
A few months ago Brent put together this recipe.
It’s been a favorite of mine since.
Salmon Patties
6 oz Can of Wild Salmon
2 pieces of Ezekiel Bread
2 Eggs
2 tbs Onion (minced)
2 tbs Red Bell Pepper (minced)
1 tsp Worchestershire Sauce
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Hot Sauce (We use Chinese chili sauce)
sea salt to taste
fresh ground pepper to taste
1/2 – 1 tbs Coconut Oil
1. Toast the bread and put it in mini-chopper to make bread crumbs.
2. Mix the crumbs with everything else and form patties.
3. Cook patties in coconut oil until brown.
We get typically get 4 servings out of this recipe.

Mission accomplished.

My mom used to make salmon patties for us all the time when I was a kid and I absolutely LOVED them!! They are so delicious and such a comfort food for me… especially with mac and cheese on the side, hehe! 😉
Never ever thought to make Ezek bread crumbs! GREAT idea and the recipe sounds great too!
This sounds just awesome. I actually LOVE salmon. I grill Alaskan Wild Salmon on the Foreman grill and top with pesto sauce. That is good for some serious mouth-gasms. Love your blog!
YUM! That sounds great. I love salmon… funny, I made (and posted) a recipe for Salmon Wraps the other day. Delicious!
I just made salmon patties a couple weeks ago, and discovered that I love them! I also made a big batch for my parents while I was at home. They freeze really well!
Yum. I have some unloved foil wrapped salmon that I’m always saving for a rainy day. I should just break it out and do burgers. That Brent- he’s a keeper
And the mission-accomplishment of the soreness for the participant south of Zuma? Check. Love it.
second blog ive seen salmon patties on this week. it’s a sign.
mmmm, gonna have to try that, thx for sharing
Yum, sounds delicious! I never thought to use Ezekiel bread for bread crumbs… I’ll definitely be trying this recipe out soon.
Second comment here because I just inadvertently made these (love your idea of the worchestire sauce!) because I was tweaking your collard green patties to what I had on hand. Maybe I do have a photographic memory and stored your salmon patty recipe in my head all these months only to act upon it last night 😀 Thanks for the great recipes!
