Fluffy Friday: Kettlebell Kitchen
This month I set out to complete the 10,000 swing challenge.
This meant I “have to get my swings in” be it the In-N-Out parking lot or rest stops.
Never mind if people stared at me as if I was insane or I was embarrassing driving my family nuts.
No siree. I won’t quit.
The great thing about kettlebells is they make it easy to feed my neurosis workout anywhere.
Yesterday I got in 200 while cooking, Mozzarella Chicken.
It’s just too tempting to pick one up and crank out 50 swings while the onions sauté.
Off came the jacket. It gets warm doing kettlebells next to the hot stove.
I even had to open a window.
Yes. I just posted a picture of me opening a window. WTH? Next thing I’ll be posting a picture of an apple and two almonds. 😉
I have 900 more to go today to reach my goal. Procrastinate? Me? Noooooo.
Have an awesome weekend!
Hugs and High Fives,
Jenn

That’s a lot of kettle bell swinging! And an insane workout! Good luck!!
i JUST bought my own kettle bell. it’s a measly 5 pounder though lol.um you are so gorgeous, i thought for sure that pic was of some model from a magazine and then i realized it’s YOU
How cool you bought a kettlebell!!! You’ll have fun with it! Thanks for the kind words Stef.
I love that! I *reward myself* with kettlebell swings. When I’m procrastinating with work I tell myself that if I type 10 patient reports I can swing the KB for 15 minutes.
I’m totally doing the 10,000 swings goal in June. I’ve been scared of it and I’m not really sure why. I need to suck it up and swing.
Ha ha!!! I love you your “reward yourself” with swings! HILARIOUS!!!! You are my kinda gal!
Get your swing on!!!!
Love it so much! Thanks for the laugh. I totally adore the look on your face in that last shot. I’d like to see that posted photo of your apple and two almonds next time, if you don’t mind. Fascinating accountability, right? 😉 Hmm perhaps I should do a swing challenge?!?! Remind me to tell you a funny story about how I took all my rings off to do KBs and it happened to coincide with the only fight my hubs and I have had in about 4 yrs! bahaha!
Jenn, honestly, my arms ache just thinking about all your kettlebell swinging. But I am also inspired to get one and try it myself!
And thanks for that link to your mozarella chicken recipe. That sounds fantastic. It is a ‘cleaned up’ version of one of my most favorite restaurant meals, and one I have not tried myself. Sunday dinner, here I come!
P.s. I replied to your question about Dallas Willard on my blog.
Isn’t it funny the photos we take for blogs? I never would have thought I’d post ANY photos of myself!
Get yer swing on, lady!
