Eat Cleaner On the Go with Mira Stainless Steel Containers – Giveaway
In today’s chemical laden world eating clean sometimes means more than fruits and vegetables.
Over the years, I’ve slowly been replacing plastic with glass and stainless steel.
I started with our water bottles.
Then moved on to food storage containers.
But I have still been using plastic for packing lunches.
Until I tried the MIRA Stainless Steel 3 Container Set.
Mira Stainless Steel reusable containers are made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and have non-toxic snap on lids (in fun colors I might add) that are free of BPA, PVC, and lead.
They are a perfect size for lunch or snacks on-the-go.
The larger container is 16 oz, the medium is 8 oz, and the small is 5 oz.
The only downside is that the large is a bit small for this monster sized salad girl.
Each container has a snap on lid and so far I haven’t noticed any leakage.
The three containers nest inside of each other for space saving storage.
A huge plus since my kitchen is smaller than the average closet.
Mira has generously offered to giveaway one set of stainless steel containers to one Girl Heroes reader.

I’ve been looking for a better gladware solution, these look fantastic!
Ooh, these are adorable! Our “glad” containers get used and washed so much – we are rarely home so we pack EVERYTHING.
I like trail mix
I love to pack toasted almonds and fruit (either fresh or dried)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I know this is a cop out answer, but it really depends on the season. Right now, I’m loving fresh cucumbers, sliced with a little salt and stevia along with some beef jerky as a snack, but in the winter I usually snack on roasted veggies (leftovers, usually cold) and hard boiled eggs. I’m boring. 😀
Sweet! I’ve switched over to glass for most of my tupperware/reheating needs but I get nervous about carrying glass with me for my snacky things. Plus the pyrex leaks and it stinks having to clean cream out of the inside of my tote when my berries and cream gets tipped on it’s side. Will have to give these puppies a whirl.
I like packing yogurt as a snack!
I started using U-Konserve reusable baggies for my sandwiches! Love to pack pita and hummus
I like to pack fresh fruit, especially pineapple!!
My favorite lunch to pack is leftovers, especially fried rice. It heats really well and is very filling.
I love to take along pre-measured portions of almonds or walnuts, boiled eggs I peeled at home, berries, cut up carrots and cukes…anything that doesn’t require heating or utensils!
i love to pack bento items, rice, veggies, and some meat like ribs or chicken wings
I switched to glass for leftovers when Costco sold a great set a couple of years ago. We sometimes use Not as sustainable, but we sometimes use Natural Value waxed paper bags on the go. I like boiled eggs, sugar snap peas, red bell pepper slices, garlic sesame sticks, tamari almonds, and cucumber slices with ume vinegar, if it’s not going to get too hot. Thanks for the heads up on these containers!
i like banana chips and almonds, or a small salad!
I use glass containers to pack lunches, but stainless steel would make me feel better as the kid can be very rough with his lunch box!
Fruits and hummus wraps
Celery and peanut butter and avocado salads
Damn, too late. I’d have loved to win this too, the steel containers look cool
Ecimonoes are in dire straits, but I can count on this!
