Best Winter Boots Ever: Teva Jordanelle Review (and giveaway!!!)
When we decided to spent the winter in the mountains of Colorado I knew I needed some new cold weather gear.
I especially knew I needed some warm winter boots since I’m trying to walk 3,000,000 steps this year.
So I began a search for cute winter boots…errr….I mean the best winter boots.
Because when it’s -7° function trumps fashion.
Then I came across the Teva Jordanelle.
I’ll get to the point.
Best Winter Boots. Ever.
Seriously.
National Geographic included the Teva Jordanelle boots as part of their “Gear of the Year”.
(You can also read the 5 star reviews on Teva)
Having grown up with the puffy moon boots of yesteryear I didn’t know cute winter boots existed.
Much less cute WARM winter boots.
When you are facing near or below freezing temperatures everyday then good gear can make all the difference between being comfortable or miserable.
Over the past month, I have put my Teva Jordanelle boots through the test.
Shovel snow at near 0° weather for over an hour and still have warm dry feet?
Check.
I really did shovel snow one in the dark and below freezing for over an hour. Not only did my feet stay warm and dry in my Teva Jordanelle boots I got in a great workout.
Hike up snowy slick terrain and not lose footing?
Check.
I’ve put them to test on The Colorado Trail which is within walking distance of our campground.
How awesome is that!!
Leap like a gazelle more than 10x for photos because you still think you are 12 and not slip once?
Check.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Or one. Weirdo.
The cutest winter boots around?
Check.
You have to decide that for yourself but I love kicking around town in my Teva Jordanelle boots.
Multifunctional?
Check.
The liner slips out to make warm booties for hanging out around the house.
Compact for travel?
Check.
The upper part of the Teva Jordanelle boot folds down making it the size of an ordinary shoe and the Jordanelle is light making it great for travel (and hiking).
Not only have the Teva Jordanelle boots passed my “best winter boot” test but they come in 3 cute colors.
Here is the best part!!!
I loved these boots so much that I asked Teva if they would giveaway a pair to one of you guys and they said YES!
Did you hear that!

I bought new gloves sooooooooo warm!
Those are some seriously cute boots. Great givaway!
Adorable boots! I went snowshoeing for the first time on Saturday. And now I’m on the hunt for a super warm and comfortable pair of boots…and snowshoes. I loved it!
You were serious when you said they were cute! Love them and your leaping leprechaun photo 😉
Those are so cute! I’ve been getting by in the same winter boots since about 2001 and they aren’t cute AT ALL. Will have to consider upgrading!
Just bought a house and while out shoveling i found my Columbia boots (umm like over 5 years old from my walking around campus at college days) were separating from the sole! Just what i need… Another expense haha. Could definitely use a new pair out boots… will have to check these out, do love tevas but wear their kids sizes… Wonder if they have a kids version 😉
Lovely boots! I live in the Canadian Rockies and it’s cold and snowy here too! It’s so hard to find cute functional boots…
LOVE!! Glad you’re staying warm and dry! xoxo
I am staying warm! Lots of snow and great sunshine.
Hot tea…lots of hot tea….also…lots of bathroom trips

I hear ya! I live in the mountains in Palmer Lake, CO..warm feet is ESSENTIAL!! Love that they are slippers too!!
Those are super cute boots and love the colors! Those would be great for when I have to show apartments in the winter.
How am I staying warm? I’m not!!! It’s COLD here! It was 13 today and it is supposed to get even colder. I wore my down booties in my office today, along with my fingerless mittens and was hovering over my space heater the entire time!
I need these boots!!
Love those boots! So cute on you too and I love that they double as slippers – Want!!! I am trying to stay warm this winter by wearing my “Michelin Man” coat, gloves, and scarf! It is only bad when that cold wind cuts through you (and yes, it is cold right now in the South!)
Uggs, gloves, scarves, thick jacket, and lots of hot coffee and tea!!
Staying warm here in Colorado by keeping our fire going strong!
Sitting by the fire always keeps me warm
This winter I will stay warm simply by being in my apartment. The heat is extreme since it cannot be controlled individually by apartment. It’s always summer in my living room especially! LOL
Bundle up in my nice warm winter coat and ugg boots.
Staying inside when the temperatures dip!
tights and long boots
I am wearing my long down coat and layering.
Staying inside! Haha
Lots of hot chocolate and warm clothes.
Wearing two layers of everything, including socks.
Layers, layers and layers!
I am having a hard time — it is below zero every morning and we have 6 feet of snow in our yard! These boots would go a long way!!
I’m staying warm by cuddling up with my fiance!
Staying in doors. My kids have been sick a lot.
By wearing lots of socks! (particularly knee-high socks–I’m a sucker for those)
I am wearing fuzzy socks in the house and bundling up with blankets on the couch!
Thanks, Karen

I’m not! I seem to be perpetually freezing!
Nice big quilt!
staying in and hibernating all winter 😀
Hot cocoa every night keeps me warm!

I am staying warm this winter by staying inside mostly to keep away from the flu every one else seems to have. However, I am also staying warm by keeping active with exercise. I have a favorite scarf too. A warm cup of green tea also warms me up in the evening!
